Come April 1st, I always find myself beginning to prepare for the following school year.  Yes, I am still teaching my current students, but there are always little things that I like to set in motion for the coming year.  I send materials that I know I will need copied, to the copy center.  Have colored paper laminated, so I can easily use die cuts to cut out letters, etc.  And, I begin to build my Teacher Binder!

While I can’t type any student names on any of the forms, I can get the copies ready.  Once the school calendar for the coming year is approved by the board (mid March), I can begin working with my attendance sheets, lesson plan pages and calendars.

While I will still have a great deal of work to do come August, I am always relieved to have the ‘little things’ finished and ready for the next step.

A glimpse at a few of the Cover Pages for my binder.

A few of the many forms for my binder and classroom.
